Phuture Global Radio 004: Funksion (part duex)

Resident DJ and longtime Sacramento underground party mover, Funksion, returns to PGR with some true global sickness! This is party time, the likes you’ll only get in Sacramento at Phuture Global on 2nd Saturdays!

Full tracklist will be posted soon…

Come check out Funksion playing a B2B set with Gavin Varitech on July 13th as PGD welcomes Sacramento’s house music OG, Karizma, back home!

“Get Lucky” – PGD 2nd Sat l8nite!

Going in a different direction? Well, kind of! As you know we focus on the deeper side of phuture forward global house, techouse, and techno and we still do.

All that will still be in play for June’s PGD but for one night only we’re going heavy on the phuture disco, nu-disco, indie shit, and phuturetro as a theme!

Gavin Discotech – Jon Maestro – Erin Best – Nick Cecchi

A PGD night PGD June 2013webheavy on phuture disco and phuture retro (and maybe some originals too but REAL underground disco, no Bee Gees here).

HHIC Bryan is your host with the amazing Dani behind the bar!

PGD is THE party for the best in proper “global” house and techno. From nu-deep to future techno, minimal to big room bangers, indie to microhaus, and everything that is proper in between.

Party starts at 9:30PM and we stay open later than 99% of clubs in Sac (and can go later and later and later as long as the club is still busy!)

Free till 10:45PM, $5 after for 21+  –  +18 $8 ($5 til 10:45PM).

Phuture Global Radio 003: Vince Lombardi LIVE

Two hours of special guest deejay Vince Lobardi‘s 2.5 hour set at PGD in March. This is recorded live off the mixer with no editing of any kind (other than a fade in/out at the beginning/end since the original is a tad longer than this).

The vibe was dope at March’s PGD and this set was a big part of it. Opener Erin Best and set up man Gavin Varitech played a big part in that too. And a big shout out to a bunch of local house dancers for setting it off!

Bobby Martinez @ PGD

Resident deejay Bobby Martinez opened it up proper for Barry Weaver last month and here is a bit of video from the event.

You can’t tell because it is so dark in there (the lighting guy took some time off apparently) but the floor was packed with sweaty bodies jackin’ to Bobby and these drums!
